If you’ve been training for a while…
Or at least been following my blog for some time now, you know that there are several different types of strength. During any given workout, you’ve most likely experienced moments that require more physical strength, at other times, more mental strength. Each of these forms of strength have sub sets that further expand the realm of strength.
Now, not many of you out there are firefighters, so it’s difficult for you AND me to understand what that job demands of a person. That being said, we all know that it has to be intense and present firefighters with new challenges each and every call.
With that, it is my job as a coach for several of Austin’s top firefighters, to replicate all possible scenarios and all forms of strength. The video you are about to see is of the final round of 3. As you’ll see, the intensity was relatively low, but the mental strength that was required to complete this workout was up there.
